Clinical Supervision

Supporting your professional growth

I trained with CSTD London using the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision and hold a Certificate in Supervision. My own clinical background is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy, and this attachment based lens continues to shape how I think about the therapeutic relationship, both between client and therapist and between supervisee and supervisor.

Alongside this, I draw on an existential perspective that keeps questions of meaning, choice and authentic engagement close to the centre of the work, and I integrate ideas from Relational Life Therapy where they help sharpen a supervisee's understanding of power, vulnerability and the patterns that show up in the room.

I offer clinical supervision to colleagues and trainees working with individuals and couples, and I approach this work as a genuine thinking partnership rather than a one-directional exchange of expertise.

Every therapist arrives with their own sensibility, and part of what I value most in supervision is helping that sensibility take clearer shape over time, as clinical experience accumulates and particular interests and niches begin to emerge.

My aim is to support supervisees in developing a way of working that is theoretically grounded yet genuinely their own, and that continues to deepen as their practice does.

I see supervisees in person in Whitstable, Kent, and online on Zoom.
