FAQ

Initial Meeting

The initial appointment is fundamental for both me and you to make a decision whether to work together. It’s also the opportunity for you to ask questions, find out more about the therapeutic process, talk about what you hope to get out of it and agree a desirable outcome that we both feel is realistic and achievable. If you decide to continue with a psychotherapy or couple therapy programme, you will be asked to commit to attending regular sessions.

Duration and frequency of meetings

Once weekly sessions are the norm, although there will be times when it may be clinically appropriate to have sessions more or less frequently. The standard length is 50 minutes. Sessions can continue for a limited period of time or on an open-ended basis for more in-depth analytic work. We will discuss the potential duration of our work during the initial meeting and this can be reviewed at any stage.

Location

Therapy Time Group Practice is located at 1 Bell Yard, London WC2A 2JR. I am not currently seeing clients at the premises but online exclusively, however I have colleagues able to take referrals and see you there if you wish to see a therapist face-to-face.

Fees

The fees payable per session vary depending whether the session happens on a weekday or weekend and its frequency and range from £100 to £150 per 50-minute session.

For clients covered by their insurance provider such as Cigna or

Aviva, please note £20 extra per session will be billed to the insurer to cover administrative costs.

Payment

I accept payments via bank transfer, Wise international payments and Paypal. Payment is due within 24 hours of the session having taken place.

Online Therapy

I offer psychotherapy sessions to individuals and couples via Zoom video conference, subject to clinical assessment for suitability.
